When the owners of The Red Fern Cottage purchased land back in the 70’s, one thing they loved to do was walk around the gorgeous country side and take in the beauty of the oak, pine, and various fauna that surrounds it. One thing they noticed in abundance was red fern! When this land was purchased, on it was a really old uninhabitable log cabin. It was demolished and this sweet cottage was built in its place. The Red Fern Cottage was named for those long quiet walks in the neighborhood. The cottage is cozy, quiet, and comfortable. We can’t wait to host you!
